The maiden edition of Diamond Special Recognition Awards took place in North London at La Royale Banqueting Suites, Tottenham on the 10th of June 2011. 30 recipients from across the world were recognised for their hardwork in their respective fields.
The 2012 Edition of Diamond Special Recognition Awards Worldwide was held in Nigeria at the Anchor Events Centre, Ikeja, Lagos on the 30th of September, 2012. The event attracted various dignitaries, while honouring 25 recipients.
The 2013 Edition of Diamond Special Recognition Awards was held at the Embassy of Nigeria, Washington DC on the 5th of October 2013 as part of the Nigeria Independence Day celebration with the Chief of Mission, the late Ambassador Adefuye and his Deputy, Ambassador Archibong as hosts. The ceremony honoured 32 recipients.
The 4th Annual Diamond Special Recognition Awards was held in Essex, United Kingdom on the 24th of August 2014 at the BTN Banqueting Hall, Essex. 32 recipients were awarded. Father of the Day, Dr Dalhatu Sarki Tafida OFR. CFR, the former Nigeria High Commissioner to the UK was represented by his Special Assistant, Prince Tajudeen Adeniyi of the Nigeria High Commission UK.
